I am flattered, completely flattered! You know, my blog, like most people's has evolved. I am so pleased that my choices have resulted in making people feel good and wanting to share. With all the negative things happening in the world, let's make poetry with what we have...to help us cope with what is around us. I am very honored and THANK YOUR FRIEND NAN!!! Many happy blessings to you this day, Anita
Dear Kaye, as I meander your blog, I am very thrilled to see you are involved in the literary world! I am a French teacher and just this past year, both my husband and myself are breaking through the veil of our dreams and are attempting to write. My post was on an evening we spent at The Loft Literary Center in downtown Minneapolis. What a thrill to talk to dear local writers who as well, are writing, publishing and starting out. What fun it is to TRY.
Not to worry, I'll be at your lovely place often; I've subscribed to receive your new posts by email so I won't miss a one. And I'm adding you to my blog roll. Today's piece touched me more than you know.
The book world is a lovely one. You may spot some writers you enjoy right here (there's a list of this year's guest bloggers in the left sidebar). Some are just starting out, some are mid-list, and some are quite well known and a few are NY Times bestsellers. And some are exceptionally talented but yet to be published. And gracious, lovely souls, each and every one.
After reading your blog today, I quickly came to the conclusion that you are among those exceptionally talented writers. The images your chose were perfect and the whole piece is, I think, pure joy.
