When I had just moved into a new neighborhood, I was twelve years old. At school, I was on a team of kids to make up a quiz show and my new neighbor invited up to her house for extra work on our project. We were allowed into her father's den and everyone took a seat. I was shocked to see a lamp just like this one and had to sit by it all the time. My face was beet red during the whole time!

ReplyDeleteAh, the famous leg lamp (fragile) I think I watch that movie The Christmas Story every year for the lamp episode.
