Sisters in Crime Los Angeles will award grants to attend the 2017 California Crime Writers Conference



LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Sisters in Crime/Los Angeles announces that it will award up to three grants to attend the 2017 California Crime Writers Conference. One of the country’s preeminent events for both emerging and established mystery writers, the 2017 California Crime Writers Conference will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 10-11, 2107 at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Los Angeles—Westside/6161 West Centinela Avenue, Culver City, California.

The Sisters in Crime/LA Educational Grant serves to further the education of published and aspiring mystery/crime writers on the path to writing excellence. The grant is open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents, regardless of gender, age, or race. Sisters in Crime membership is not required. The Sisters in Crime/LA Educational Grant is intended for the use of serious, aspiring mystery/crime writers who wish to improve their skills.

Sisters in Crime/LA will award up to three grants valued at $800 each. All applications must be received via email bymidnight PST, January 31, 2017. Late applications will not be accepted. For full details and to download the Grant Application, visit: www.sistersincrimela.com
