Paris Trip - Part Two

Sunday in Paris - Another perfect day.

We started with café crème and croissants at Le Carousel Cafe, walked to the Louvre, then boarded a boat for a ride down the Seine.  Next was lunch at the Eiffel Tower and back on the boat to Notre Dame.

This was the end of our tour, so we took off to walk and explore the Île de la Cité and the Île Saint-Louis.  Then it was back home to Montparnasse and dinner at The Fourteenth Cafe.

Parisians watch this gentlemen's feet.  When the Seine rises up to his feet, the city is in danger of flooding

Bill, That's the word I used a beezillion times every single day while we were there. (I meant to say "Magnifique!" but kept forgetting).

Lesa - The pics of you in your little French beret are classics!!! Going through the photos for the blog is too fun. So many I had forgotten.

Amazing! So gorgeous. You covered a lot of ground!

Thanks for these beautiful pictures, ESPECIALLY the gargoyles, but also the cathedrals and the lovely detailed shots of the city.

First, let me say Gargoyles!!!!!! You have made me a happy person with your amazing gargoyle pictures. I am in love with gargoyles, and I should go to Paris just for them. Then, the statues, the sculptures, the Louvre, the freaking Mona Lisa! The pastries, the picture of you with your coffee or hot chocolate and the picture of Lesa in the tam! The Seine River and area beside it! The architecture and the beautiful churches! Oh Kaye, I have fallen in love with Paris!
