Galeries Lafayette - Walking the Glasswalk and Making Macarons

A short walk away from our hotel was Galeries Lafayette.

Donald walked over with me and we walked out on the Glasswalk so we could photograph the magnificent Art Deco Dome.

We did a little exploring before Donald decided department stores were no more his thing in Paris than they are in Boone, NC, so he left me to browse around on my own.

Then it was time to meet up with Shawn Reilly Simmons and Verena Main Rose for our Macaron Class which was held in the Appartement Galeries Lafayette

After class the three of us enjoyed catching up over a lovely meal at Galeries Lafayette Angelina.

Along with some hot chocolate
